There are many aspects involved with dog care and making sure you cover them all can be daunting. Dogs are subject to allergies but they catch them from the air. Proper allergy care involves not only treating the symptoms but also prevention. You should bath your dog regularly and rinse their feet after they have been outside to remove any allergens on your dog's skin.
Dog dental care can also be done at home and is very easy but also critical to your dogs health. Proper dental care provides ...

It is now August. The bucks are in full velvet and grouped
together in their bachelor groups. Now is the time to do you
long range scouting. Find a spot where you can see a good food
source with binoculars from a good distance away. I like to
watch the edges of alfalfa fields the last hour before dark. I
prefer to bring a stool or chair and sit on a fence line to
watch the field. Once you start to see deer, pay close attention
to where they are coming out. They might use the same trail to
exit ...

Planting food plots is a perfectly legal way to feed and provide benefits to the deer. You can not however, use corn or seeds to lure a deer in order to shoot it, the vast majority of states adhere to this law. The food plots provide the deer with a sure place to get food, and so they will be better nourished and as a result grow bigger and healthier. Healthy deer will in turn produce more deer in that area which is especially beneficial during the winter months.

Texas Exotic Hunting is a popular sport in this state. Hog
hunting in Texas and dove hunting in Texas are both considered
exotic.
Have you ever tried to hunt a hog? These wild pigs can be fierce
and furious. Can you imagine a wild hog charging you with
thunderous speed, hooves slashing with a head the size of Texas
swinging back and forth in the air. I can!
This grunting and squealing pig is an enormous beast! He came

I just got back from my first black bear hunt in Canada. It was
a hunting trip that will stay with me for the rest for my
life. This trip was the most intense, and unnerving experiences
I have ever had. I arrived at camp in Brunswick Canada on a
Sunday night and was in the tree stand early the next
morning. My open tree stand was only 7 feet off the ground, and
the bears bait can only 14 yards away. This is what we call
"nerve hunting" up close and personal! I saw no bears on ...

all spring and summer keeping your feeders filled, building new

encouraged by new deer sign, fresh tracks, rubs, scrapes and
other signs that deer continue to use the area. But, now that

Perhaps one of the eldest activities on the face of the planet
is hunting. The history of hunting, as a result, is also one of
the most diverse. Hunting for food has always been something
that human kind has had to do, dating back to the beginning of
any civilizations known to man.
As a result of this, there have been thousands of weapons and
devices used to hunt. The history of hunting is far more

Most authorities agree that dogs were among the first, if not
the first, animals domesticated by man. Cave paintings depict
dog-like creatures hunting with early man though experts are
still skeptical about the actual time this domestication took
place. Most indicate the fact that there are no fossil remains
yet unearthed that suggest a date earlier than 10,000B.C. for
the connection between man and dog. Whatever the actual date, we
are in awe of our domesticated friends and sadly unaware of ...

While their populations are large, deer are still one of the most alternately frustrating and exhilarating game animals to hunt. One thing that makes this animal so difficult to get is twofold. Their sense of smell is so keen and their ability to communicate within the herd rapidly to warn them that danger is near, is razor sharp.
It's easy to tell when you've been sniffed out in the literal sense, as they will raise their heads and point their noses in your direction. Whitetail deer will ...

Elk are considered to be one of the largest of quarries for a hunter, making elk hunting a special type of activity. These large animals also have larger than life calls and mating rituals. They can be blatantly aggressive or relatively timid. Those who participate in hunting elk on a regular basis are likely to have quite a story or two of coming in close contact with these majestic creatures. A male elk, or bull, can reach seven to eight hundred pounds easily. Regardless of size, many hunters ...

When it comes to hunting there is little that comes close to the sheer excitement of bear hunting. This is particularly true in North America where there are few, if any, more dangerous animals to go after.
Bear hunting can be a major thrill for most hunters but this excitement comes partially from the dangers associated with this particular sport.
Typical bear hunting breeds are the brown bear, grizzly bear, and black bear and there are many areas in North America where such breeds can be ...

The reason they advise small game first is twofold. First, chances are a hit on small game is going to ...

Deer & Deer Hunting
Alot has been written about whitetail deer hunting and deer movement throughout the years, but the differences in deer activity is quite intriguing.
As the male buck gets older, he becomes more active during the night(nocturnal), and less likely to mate. Thus, making the big bucks harder to catch.
And somedays you will see many deer in a given area, when on other days you won't see a single deer.
A great e-book has been written on the subject of whitetail deer hunting and ...

It is absolutely necessary to sight in your deer rifle before
you go hunting. You owe it to the deer to make certain your
rifle shoots where you point it. Even if you just bought a rifle
and the store bore-sighted the gun with a collimator, you still
need to shoot it and fine-tune the point of impact.
Bore-sighting can be precise and can make a rifle shoot close
enough to hit a paper target at 25 yards, but it's not meant to
be a substitute for sighting in the rifle on a range.

because muzzle velocities vary a lot more and the ammunition is
lighter. If you're working on improving your rifle shooting
